As a Licensed Building Practitioner (LBP), Vista Homes is also an active member of the Certified Builders Association (CBNZ). Unlike some other associations, CBNZ requires all members to be trade qualified, ensuring a high standard of craftsmanship.
We take pride in giving back to the industry by incorporating apprentices into our team and participating in high school gateway programs, fostering the next generation of builders.

As a member of Certified Builders, we proudly offer the comprehensive Halo 10-year residential building guarantee. This includes a 12-month fault warranty for any issues that may arise after project completion, excluding wear and tear, ensuring we remain dedicated to your satisfaction long after the build is done.
OUR TEAM
Shaun has been in the building game for over 30 years. After completing his building apprenticeship, he moved his career overseas to Scotland, USA and Australia. When he returned home to NZ he started his own company Murphy Builders that now trades as Vista Homes.
Shaun is a Licensed Building Practitioner and a member of the Certified Builders Association. He has vast building experience and has performed work for a diverse range of developers and clients that has ranged from minor dwellings to multimillion-dollar house extension and renovations.
Craig’s work has taken him around the world in corporate project management, marketing and procurement roles.
The experience gained in these roles has been applied to save you money via streamlining the house extension and renovation build processes, operating procedures and smart purchasing.
Brad started at Vista as a Gateway student, then followed on to completed his apprenticeship with BCITO. Over his 10 years of experience at Vista, he has steadily worked his way up through the ranks, now onsite managing small-scale to expansive projects . He approaches every job professionally and positively, which is complemented by his light-hearted sense of humor. His commitment to delivering top-quality work is evident in every project he oversees.
